This old classic has been ranked by Rolling Stone magazine among “500 Greatest Songs of All Time,” and is certainly one of the most beloved songs. It was originally written by Leonard Cohen in 1984, but it became popular only when Jeff Buckley started performing. Many artists covered “Hallelujah,” but this one is really something special, and probably among the best.
Famous violinist Rob Landes teamed up with pianist Aubry Pitcher to bring a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s hit. What the two musicians created is truly breathtaking, and I am sure you are going to love it. What makes this version so wonderful is that even though it starts with just one violin and piano, using a a looping pedal Rob managed to add more violins and create layers of sound!
This song is about love and we all know that love makes the world go around. Watch the video, and share some!
