Nature is capable of performing amazing creations and if we would just find the time to observe we would learn a lot more about our planet. Some might say there is nothing interesting about watching mushrooms burst from the ground and grow, but actually there is. It’s remarkable and even more, it could save our world.
Paul Stamets spent his life exploring fungi. He claims they are much more that just ingredients in soup or intruders on a well-tended lawn. He says that fungi can clean up everything from oil spills to nuclear meltdowns. Sounds silly, but didn’t we said that about every major discovery through the history?!
