A mountain rescue volunteer and snow sports instructor, Sorin Radu has captured this stunning video with a GoPro camera attached to his helmet. This guy was up in the Papusa Mountain in Gorj, Romania in order to enjoy some snowboarding time, but as he started to descend, the snow around him started to break up, and he got himself in an avalanche.
This snowboarder from Romania had no idea how amazing video he was going to record when he attached this GoPro camera onto his helmet. He was tossed down as the avalanche occurred. After about 20 seconds, he finally stopped himself. Radu was snowboarding at an elevation of 2135 meters before he took a tumble. Fortunately, he survived the experience unharmed.
