Siberian tigers are the world’s largest cats, that live primarily in eastern Russia’s birch forests. There are only 400 to 500 Siberian tigers living in the wild, and are considered endangered. This video shows a release of an orphaned Siberian tigress who was only a few months old when her mother was killed. The amazing video was recorded with several special ultra-slow-motion cameras capturing some great shots.
Everything was done thanks to the IFAW, the International Fund for Animal Welfare who save individual animals, animal populations and habitats all over the world. This incredible rare Siberian tiger is called Zolushka, and without the help of these people she would probably not survived. Now, after being rehabilitated she has been safely released and returned to the wild.
