Thousands Of U.S. Soldiers Died On This Beach. 73 Years Later Kids Gather For A Touching Tribute To The Fallen

73 years ago one of the most important battles in the history took place. On June 6, 1944 the Allied Forces attacked Germans on the coast of Normandy, France. That was the turning point of WWII in Europe, but by the end of the day, thousands of soldiers lost their lives.

Omaha Beach was part of the invasion area assigned to the U.S. First Army. On this, now beautiful beach, 2400 brave man gave their lives for freedom. In their honor, on that same place, the kids of One Voice Children’s Choir recorded the emotional tribute. This performance of “When You Believe” is dedicated to our heroes.

Seeing them stand and sing on the place where so many fought and died for freedom is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
