14 dancers ranging from 14 to 18 years old stood up for this high school halftime performance and spread one important message that left everyone watching in awe. The Mahomet-Seymour High School Dance Team came up dressed in solemn, black outfits and started a routine with minimal music, but when they heard voice over the loudspeaker saying “I used to be afraid of tomorrow. … What room does fear have?”, their costumes changed completely!
This wardrobe change came up as a total surprise, symbolizing liberation and letting go of your fears. The complete interpretation was memorable and it brought big cheers from the crowd. The video attracted a lot of attention and it was already viewed nearly 12 million times so far.
