During the the ’50s and ’60s, Liberace was one of the best entertainers out there. People called him “Mr. Showmanship” and back then you could not find many others like Liberace. He had raw talent for music and the audience loved his piano performances.
Liberace had a humble beginning and was playing in nightclubs before performing in a few movies. He worked his way up and soon in 1953, Liberace’s syndicated television show became a smashing hit. This flamboyant pianist dazzled the world with his fast fingers. The incredibly fast 16-to-the-bar boogie woogie performance was present again in 1969, this time in glorious color.
You wont find many talented musicians like Liberace today, he was really something special. Pure entertainment genius.
