The Alaskan brown bear is a close relative with grizzly bear and it is one of the largest brown bear subspecies. These bears can be found in the coastal regions of southern Alaska and are usually ranging in weight from 800 to 1,200 pounds (363 to 544 kg)! One of the interesting facts about their behavior is that they practically unpredictable in temperament. Knowing this, imagine how this guy felt when one member of these species approached and seat next to him!
Drew Hamilton, an employee of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, was camping at the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary and Refuge when he got completely surprised with a large brown bear. Hamilton preserved his calmness and probably did the best thing he could. Fortunately, bear was also acting pretty cool, he seat next to him, rested for a while, and went back.
