Extreme cold weather these days is bringing a lot of trouble to people, but seems we are not the only ones. A herd of elk recently fell through the ice at Palisades Reservoir in Wyoming. The situation could have ended deadly, if it was not for some good Samaritans.
Temperatures were near 32 degrees that day when Dusty Jones spotted a couple cars pulled over. These guys were trying to get through the ice with dozens of elk in front of them. Jones rushed down to help, and soon there were 30-40 people there. They all worked together for a good cause, and it was an amazing thing to see.
The most important thing, 13 elk was pulled from the water to safety. Thanks to these brave men and their enormous effort it was a beautiful day. Check out the awesome video and SHARE with all your friends animal lovers.
Getting the last 2 elk out….what an amazing start to this day! All elk survived. Great to see the community come together and help these animals😁
