Getting a good job is, sadly, getting harder and harder every day. We live in a harsh world full of many obstacles, but this reality is even more difficult for those with disabilities. Only a small percentage of people with Down Syndrome are employed, even though there are many capable individuals full of talents.
Julia is a 17 year old girl who already achieved so much, by any standards. She is a varsity cheerleader and helps run the concession stand at the little league snack shop. She is a responsible young adult and that is why she decided to get her first job. Julia’s big wish was to to work for her local Chick Fil A franchise. She was determined to give her best and turn her dream into a reality.
With the help of her schoolmates and school guidance counselor she went through several interviews and now she could only wait. Finally, the phone rang and it was the moment she will hear if all her efforts paid off. By the way she reacted, we can say for sure, it was good news.
People loved her amazing reaction and her entire story. The video is going viral and for a good reason. Check it out and SHARE to inspire others.
