What this team of doctors and nurses witnessed recently was so rare that it occurs only ones in every 80,000 births. They were clearly in awe of this medical miracle that they had to film the incredible moment.
A baby was born within a fully intact amniotic sac, just minutes after its twin was delivered normally. This is also known as an “en caul” birth, as the word “caul” means “helmeted head” or “veil.” Usually, this protective membrane bursts on its own, causing the mother’s water to break, but this time it did not happen and the baby came out curled up inside the clear sac which was tightly stretched around its body.
Eventually, doctors would break the baby out and the twins will be able to finally meet in person for the first time! Wish I could catch that. A truly amazing thing to see and a very rare phenomenon you would not want to miss. Don’t forget to share with your friends and family on Facebook!
