An incredibly talented man named Serge Belo is an artist behind the masterpiece called 66,000: A Water Mosaic With a Cause. He created an image composed of 66,000 cups of colored rainwater representing a fetus in the maternal womb. The idea behind this stunning project is to simulate levels of impurities found in water all over the planet.
Belo’s mosaic takes up 3,600 square feet and it’s absolutely magnificent. The inspiration came after a drought in 2001. The drought destroyed nearly all of the plants in the horticulture company Belo owned at the time. Since then, he has been on a mission to raise awareness about access to clean water.
I can not even imagine how much effort did he put in to make something majestic like this. We really should think of a new word for Belo’s project, cause this is beyond art.
